Sunshine Coast Spinners and Weavers Guild

Welcome to the Sunshine Coast Spinners and Weavers Guild

We are located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Canada.
The Sunshine Coast is located a 40-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, just outside of Vancouver.
We are an enclave of artists of all varieties (for a comprehensive list of Sunshine Coast artists, see Coast Cultural Alliance).

MEETINGS
The SCSAWG meets on the first Monday of every month, at
St. John's United Church,
5085 Davis Bay Rd,
Davis Bay (just south of Sechelt)
Doors open at 11:30, with the library open until 12:25.
We have a different program each month (for a sample, browse through our Newsletter Archive - access from the Homepage).
Meetings end at around 2; bring your lunch (and something to knit, if you need something to do with your hands!)

SPIN-INS
We have a Spin-in in private homes on the third Tuesday of each month, from 10 am-2 pm.
Bring your own lunch and your spinning wheel, spindle, knitting needles, or whatever you're working on at the moment.

The Northern Spin-in happens on the last Thursday of the month at Yvonne's beautiful yurt studio,
FibreWorks (12887-12889 Sunshine Coast Highway, 2 km north of Madeira Park).
Potluck lunch; Yvonne provides tea and coffee.
call 604-883-2380 for more information.

LENDING
We maintain a large library of books about everything fibre, and a variety of equipment for loan.
